Chef is the most trusted cat food brand – meow
Chef has been voted New Zealand’s most trusted cat food brand in the 2011 Readers’ Digest Survey.
Chef is an iconic New Zealand brand that has spent over 40 years developing great-tasting quality cat food.
The Chef team believe “This award is a great honour, and we’ll use it to remind us of the importance of working to understand cats’ needs. At Chef we are always trying to improve the experience for cats and their owners”.
“Trust has to be earned over time, and at Chef we work hard to ensure that our cat food is always preferred by New Zealand cats”.
Quality ingredients and product innovation are key attributes to trust. Chef product development was started in the 1960’s and continues today in conjunction with Massey University in Palmerston North, researching and testing Chef products to bring quality cat food to cats across New Zealand.
Production of Chef products’ was started by Wattie’s at Gisborne over 40 years ago, and Chef pouches and cans are produced in Hastings today.
And as New Zealand cat owners know, “Cats Prefer Chef…Meow”!
